Pomegranate Yogurt with Strawberries and Mochi at PINKBERRY

It’s my birthday week, so I’ve been allowing myself to indulge a bit here and there! Yesterday, after a business meeting on 14th Street, I treated my assistant to a midday snack from the famous frozen yogurt shop PINKBERRY! We both ordered a cupful each, and had left with the perfect afternoon pick-me-up.
While fro-yo spots have popped up everywhere over the past 5 years, similar to Starbuck’s rapid rise in the late 1990s, Pinkberry, a west coast sensation for years, has traveled across the nation and is quickly becoming an east coast favorite!
Yes, I’ve heard of, and even stopped in a few of the competitors on a whim or when a sweet tooth surfaces while at an airport, but nobody and I mean, NOBODY, does it better than Pinkberry!
Pinkberry’s quaint, clean and distinctive shops have been all the rage in LA for years, and while New Yorkers are just getting acquainted with the shops that are inspired by the European gelaterias, Pinkberry seems to be outdoing the competition with convenient new stores in practically every trendy NY neighborhood.

Seasonal flavors, daily freshly cut fruit, and ingenious toppings keep me stopping by Pinkberry regularly! The quality of the yogurt, the freshness of the flavors, the creamy textures, and the sweet and tangy tastes drive me wild! I love to throw mochi (a doughy and chewy Japanese-inspired dessert), fruity pebbles and the fruit toppings on top… A small with toppings costs over $5, but it’s worth the invigorating, comforting and light thrill that makes for a great snack or a post-meal refresher!
I love Pinkberry. They cater, they offer gift cards, and you can even get a tub big enough to take home! Sure, Pinkberry is costly, it’s trendy, but it’s also delicious and delightful! Ask anyone in LA, if you haven’t had Pinkberry, you simply haven’t had the best in frozen yogurt!

The best frozen yogurt ever!!!! and the free fresh fruit toppings are amazing!!!
I loooooove frozen yogurt, but here in DC I've only had Frozen Yo which I thought was the best. Clearly, I'm missing the real deal!! I've never heard of mochi, but it looks and sounds delicious:-)
