Pan Fried Pork Chops

I LOVE to eat, but I surely can’t say the same thing about cooking.  However, when I do choose to showcase my culinary talents, I never disappoint!  I find that anything I can throw into a frying pan makes for a relatively easy and flavorfully delicious meal.  Last night, I rolled up my sleeves, heated up the skillet and opted for pork chops!

Now, because I’m not much of a cook, I often rely on web-based recipes for my cooking techniques, and whenever I pan-fry pork chops I turn to the Pioneer Woman. features some really great recipes, images and food news.  I found this easy and satisfying recipe on the site years ago and still use it to this day… Check it out here.

Pork Chops and Grits

This recipe makes for well-seasoned, juicy and tender chops that are as good as any restaurant I’ve ever had… The flouring provides the perfect crunch and this is the only way I can and choose to make my home cooked pork chops!  If you buy center cut, they are a bit thicker than the Pioneer Woman’s so you may have to cook them a couple of minutes longer on each side, but other than that, you’d be good to go!

I didn’t have any potatoes, so I prepared some grits and placed on the side!  This is a great recipe and was a phenomenal meal… Perfect for brunch, lunch or dinner!
