Miami’s EDEN ROC Hotel STILL Reigns Supreme & Remains A CELEB FAVORITE!
Before Ocean Drive and the rest of Collins Avenue were known for deluxe hotels, fancy restaurants, high end shopping and street eye candy, the fabulous beachfront EDEN ROC Hotel served as Hollywood’s go-to Miami resort! It’s even mentioned by Lucille Ball in an episode of I Love Lucy when the gang traveled to Florida. It was the first hotel I in which I stayed during my first visit to Miami with Kimora Lee Simmons back in 20002, and it has remained top on my list for the ultimate Miami experience.
Located at 4525 Collins Avenue (next door to the ever popular Fontainebleau Hotel ), The Eden Roc’s recent renovations and a brand new Ocean Tower beautifully merges old-school cinematic glamour with contemporary luxury showcasing must-have amenities, including a deluxe spa, awesome poolside snacks at one of their three pools, beach access, sumptuous sheets, and a brand new NOBU will be opening later this year, while never losing the world’s most beautiful clientele, including Jennifer Lopez and Vivica A. Fox (my recent companion during last week’s stay).
Aside from the hotel’s magnificent decor and enticing lure, one of the best things about the hotel is the awesome room service. Swift with plentiful dining choices there are sandwiches, salads, seafood and a Spa section for healthy eating! I indulged last week, and here are a few of the must-have items to order next time you stop by the Eden Roc for star-gazing or some simple fun in the sun!
