Half Chicken Meal at BOSTON MARKET

Boston Market Half Chicken Dinner with Baked Beans, Creamed Spinach and Cornbread

Last night, while trying to stick to my diet and find a spot for dinner where I could get some protein and keep the carbs to a minimum, I ended up at Boston Market.  It was the first time in a long time, and only my second time in life, visiting the popular chicken chain.  Years ago when I had stopped by, I remember thinking I wasn’t too impressed, and never found the time to go again.  But I decided to give them another try, and am pleased to say it was actually delicious!

I carried out my half chicken meal with two sides of baked beans and cream spinach with cornbread.  It came to about $9.00 and I got back to my hotel room and tore up this scrumptious dish with three sauces – barbecue, spicy, and sweet & sour.  I surely didn’t know what I was missing all this time!  The rotisserie chicken was juicy, fresh, hot and tender and the cream spinach was amazing!  Loved the baked beans, but the cornbread was a little dry and cold!  YUCK!

A Boston Market Dinner

I also used my own hot sauce for taste, but this meal was robust and filling!  I thoroughly enjoyed it!

The food at Boston Market is really great! Usually the make sure the bread is warm and fresh--so sorry to hear that it was different! All of their meats are good and I love their cream spinach as well as their sweet potatoes. Great place for good food on the go!
