How To Eat Like A King @ DEL FRISCO’S, New York City

DEL FRISCO’S has quickly become one of my favorite steakhouses in all of New York.  Elegant, sophisticated and cosmopolitan decor combined with rich recipes, perfectly cooked steaks, and attentive service make Del Frisco’s a true standout in a city that houses luxury steakhouses practically on every block!

I wrote about Del Frisco’s back in January 2012 in a piece called SYMPHONY OF FLAVORS, but I had forgotten my camera and the pictures didn’t do the restaurant any justice.  So, I stopped in for dinner a couple of nights ago and knew I had to use the opportunity to show Burgers & Bourbon’s readers why Del Frisco’s is hard to beat!

Del Frisco’s has it all – salads, appetizers, staple side dishes, and meats that are out of this world… Well-seasoned, highly detailed, and flavorful dishes are served swiftly in appeasing presentations meant for the ideal steak lover.

I had the salmon on my last visit, and while it was cooked a little too done for my taste, it was still exquisite served with a lemon-base sauce, it was scrumptious!

With locations in Philadelphia, Vegas, Boston, Charlotte and Chicago, just to name a few, Del Frisco’s has a menu that can please anyone!  There’s also shrimp, lobster tail, and scallops!  The cauliflower was out of this world!  Served with brie au gratin style, it also had hints of black truffle – which we all know makes anything just that much better!  There’s also spinach, corn, asparagus and king crab gnocchi!  Simply put, Del Frisco’s has it all.

I’m not much of a dessert person, but the bread pudding at Del Frisco’s is splendidly delicious!  I tore it up!  Thick, moist, hefty and balanced, I could go for the bread pudding alone – it’s just that good!  But there’s also chocolate souffle cake that’s rich and tempting, multi-layered lemon cake, strawberry romanoff and a praline parfait!

I love Del Frisco’s and whether or not you missed my original post, hopefully you can now see why Del Frisco’s with worth a visit again and again.  It really is one of the best places to sit back, relax and eat like a king!

BJC.

QUESTION:::: Why do our comments not post immediately? It takes you several mins if not hours to approve. I sent Ms. Rocha (chair member) to your site after I wrote my comment and she was unable to view my mention of her. I can't send important personnel to the site and then my comment not show? If it has to be approved what is the general wait time?
