A 1st Class Breakfast on AMERICAN AIRLINES, Flight 2416

This past Saturday, I flew back to NYC on American Airlines flight 2416 with a layover at the Dallas-Fort Worth airport. Instead of loading up on unwanted calories from the Burger King in LAX‘s American Airlines terminal, I decided I’d stay awake on the 730am 757 flight to check out their breakfast.

I’m always up for something rich, thick and hearty for a meal. So I passed on the Special K with fruit option, and went for the Quiche Lorraine dish instead. Although the slice was a bit small for my taste, I made sure to get one of their light and fluffy biscuits for extra sustenance.
Although I didn’t see any bacon, the quiche was delicious! It was hot, cheesy and moist. Accompanied with fresh cantaloupe, honey dew, and strawberries, there was also grilled asparagus and parmesan crusted tomato. The fruit was extra sweet, the veggies were warmed, and the quiche was wholesome and robust. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

The biscuit was smooth, soft, and salty! It reminded me of a Popeye’s Chicken biscuit! I let the butter melt and then added some strawberry jam and tore it up with some coffee!
This was a great meal and a perfect breakfast! I was so glad I waited for take off before I indulged in my first weekend meal, and left it up to American Airlines to break my fast! As if their splendid service is not enough, American always makes any journey just that much better, and their 1st class meals make for great light and healthy dining alternatives to the cheap and fattening airport food. I love American Airlines. They make traveling easy, and as you can see, their food isn’t too bad either!
BJC.
